ARAC Roof It Forward recently held their 2017 kick off meeting at the Camp Sunshine House in Decatur, Georgia. The highlight of the event included the major announcement that the company's 2016 donation total exceeded $43,000!
“Our business has grown significantly this past year and what better place to kick off a new year than Camp Sunshine”, said John Philips, Owner of ARAC Roof It Forward. “We want our new employees to understand that giving back to the community and supporting organizations benefitting children with cancer is at the heart of our business”.
It is no secret that Roof It Forward is passionate in its mission to support kids with cancer. The incorporation of children within the company logo was a priority. The logo is proudly worn on everyone’s shirt and also painted on their trucks. They ensure that a portion of every full roof replacement goes towards this charity through the Roof It Forward program. She additionally shared with us how our donations helped the children. “With your donations - 80 children were able to attend camp. That is 10 full cabins of campers Roof It Forward sent to camp”.
Roof It Forward employees and their families are also an integral part of the Camp Sunshine experience and volunteered more than 400 hours at numerous functions throughout the year.
